Clad in colorful red and white striped scarves and with a ring of poinsettia flowers, three musically inclined moose adorn Susabean Studio's Holiday Card. Glittery snow-capped evergreen trees, a cheerful red bird, and white stars on a deep blue background complete the picture. Inside text: Happy Holidays.
When folded, the card measures 6 x 4 inches; printed on 80-pound cover stock, it comes packaged in a cello bag with a white envelope. Please note: copyright/watermark does not appear on actual card. Click on the Etsy Shop link to the left to order!
In addition to the Artists and Writers Blog tour, I am excited to be working on a licensing project for the home goods market, designing floor mats (who knew it could be so much fun to have people walking all over your art!) and expanding the "Look Who's Squawking" greeting card line.
At the Fall RISD Alumni Sale on Saturday, October 11, 2014 (stop by, she implored!) you will find all the new cards (think both bicycling and flying pigs) as well as prints and several originals for sale.
I was invited by Judith Moffatt to be part of a Blog Tour of Artists and Writers. It's been a great to see the work of so many talented artists and writers, and also a wonderful opportunity to reflect on my process. (And it also got me moving on another new piece with hedgehogs!) Check out my "Blog" link to the left, or go to susabeanstudios.blogspot.com -- to see what it's all about.
After completing my part of the Blog Tour, I sent it off to my friend and colleague Susie Slosberg at pinkchairprints.wordpress.com, and so the tour continues...
Take a look around and enjoy the latest additions to my portfolio. These are all available as matted giclee prints -- send a note if you're interested to find out more -- or to purchase an original! Additional items are also available through my Etsy Shop, Susabean Studios -- simply click on the link to your left. Thanks for visiting!!
Time to announce that my shop on Etsy is up and running! SusabeanStudios on Etsy has a variety of greeting cards and luggage tags and will also feature original works. I'm excited to have you take a look around the shop! As always, feel free to connect with me here at the website or via Etsy. Looking forward to hearing from you!!
The show is over, and was very successful! Thanks to everyone that came and visited, and to all my assistants! I met a lot of great people at the show, and my cards are now available at Three Wheel Studio, 436 Wickenden Street, Providence, RI. In addition, I will be participating in the Autumn Artisan Festival at St. Andrew's School in Barrington on November 3rd. Maybe I'll see you there!!
Things are humming along here at Susabean Studios since the move over the summer into Providence, Rhode Island. I have launched a new line of greeting cards, with my card division, "Look Who's Squawking!" -- -- and which are being offered for sale at the (wonderful!) store, "Paper, Packaging and Panache" in Bristol Rhode Island. Be sure to check them out! You can also contact me via this site for more information.
The big news is that my new studio is set up -- I am delirious with joy! Shelves -- lots of them! -- to
store all that paper, all those pencils and markers, all that glue. Everything at the proverbial fingertips. And to make things even better, I have taken over the Ping Pong table -- so I get to spread out all that ART. Very Fun.
